APPLY AS A MENTOR!

By filling out this form, you apply to be a mentor in the nationwide mentoring programme for international students in the field of technology. The programme is organised by Suomen Mentorit and its partners. We are looking for mentors, who value diverse working life and who want to do meaningful volunteer work by supporting younger international colleagues with various working life issues! Your mentee is studying a degree in the field of technology.

We accept applications until 15th of August 2025. We will inform all applicants about the selection outcomes on week 36 at the latest.

We make the mentor selections for the programme primarily based on the needs and wishes of the mentees. We value also the effort put into the application. We hope for concise, but comprehensive and well-thought-out answers to the open questions. When you fill out the form carefully, we have a better possibility to connect you with the most suitable mentee for you.

This mentoring programme will take place from September until December 2025. During the programme, the mentee and mentor commit to meeting each other once a month by together agreeing and scheduling. The duration of one meeting is usually 1-2 hours. Meetings can be face-to-face, remotely or combining these.

Please note that being a mentor is a volunteer activity and there is no monetary remuneration for it.

Wed 29th of October: Midterm meeting (live, Helsinki)
Wed 17th of December: Closing event of the programme (Teams)
