By filling out this form, you apply to become a mentor in the mentoring programme for international talents, named Future in Finland 2026. The programme is run in English and organised by Suomen Mentorit and its partners.
We are now looking for mentors, who look forward to the international framework, value diverse working life and who want to do a meaningful volunteer work by supporting young international higher education students and recent graduates with various working life issues in Finland.
We accept applications until 9 August 2026. We will inform all applicants about the outcome during the first week of September the latest.
The mentor selection for the programme is primarily based on the needs and wishes of mentees. Although international experience and language skills might help the mentor’s task at hand that is not the prerequisite to be selected as a mentor in this programme. We look forward to receiving motivated and well-founded applications as well as concise, comprehensive and well-thought-out answers to the open questions. By filling out the form carefully, you will ensure the possibility to connect with the most suitable mentee for you.
This mentoring programme runs from September 2026 until February 2027. During the course of it, the mentee and mentor commit to meeting each other once a month. The duration of one meeting is usually 1-2 hours. Meetings can be face-to-face, remote or a combination.
Please note that being a mentor is a volunteer activity and there is no monetary remuneration for it.
